The Fast Sunday Journal

Well, its been far too long since I've written in our family journal. I have been terrible about it, so I figured I would type on the blog as part of my pregnancy fast (since I can't fast from food and it's Super Bowl Sunday, so t.v. wasn't an option). PS The Colts lost to The Saints. VERY DEPRESSING...

As I have mentioned in an earlier post, we got pregnant barely a month after we were married and life changed quite a bit. I was extremely sick for a few months, but the past few weeks I have fully ended my morning sickness and couldn't be happier about that. I was passing out at nighttime around 8pm every night, which happens to be when Wes finishes work. It was miserable and we didn't get a lot of quality time together since I was so sick every night.

A great thing in our family is Wes' new job at Fortune Learning Systems. It is WONDERFUL! We were blessed more than we could have ever imagined. He makes plenty of money to take care of our growing family, which will allow me to not have to work full time, but have a chance to grow an online business with my mother. He works for a company that helps people start online businesses and he is their coach to get them going. He does a great job and all of his clients can't say enough good about him. He gets lots of bonuses and other great perks, so we feel extremely blessed.

I am still at Relevant, where I have worked my butt off for nearly two years with not one raise. I am a bit burned out and if it weren't for insurance issues with the baby, I would have already quit. I have a good job and I have learned a lot, but it's time for something new, so we'll see about this business with my mom.

Wes and I also have a website foundsimply.com that we have begun. We are doing SEM (Search Engine Marketing). Helping peoples' companies to be found through google searches. We are hoping to do well there. It will take time and work, but we feel that we have the smarts to be successful.

Along with the baby and businesses, we're also in the process of looking for our first home. We are hoping to have my dad build, but we will see what the cost difference is. We want to stay in Utah County. Hopefully the Lehi area. It's nice, family area, and very close to Wes' work, so it would be perfect for us.

To sum things up, life is great and really couldn't be better. We are thrilled to see what the future will bring!!!
